It has been forever since my last post… Sorry! I have been so busy shooting and processing jobs I haven’t had any time to write. I just got myself to sit down and create a “fan page” on Facebook. If you have a FB account check it out by clicking here I will try to add a new image to the FB account each week. See below for a few of my fav’s from the 4th of July.
Model Photographer Charlotte North Carolina
November 16, 2009 // Posted by: admin // Category: contactIf you are a seasoned model or brand new to the business, you know or will at some point find out how important it is to have a strong, current portfolio to present when you go to castings. Searching for and waiting for tears from the jobs you are doing can be a huge effort and take forever!
Portfolio Development or “test” shooting is an easy way to add images to your portfolio that look like they were shot on a job… without the wait. I have several fantastic makeup artists that I work with and I consult with you and your agency to come up with concepts for our shoot. Sessions usually last about 4 hours and are all shot on location. Contact me for packages, pricing and scheduling via email or call 704 675 5393

January 18, 2009 // Posted by: admin // Category: blogI received a call from Ed Locke of the Locke Model Agency in Greensburo, NC at the beginning of the week. (Check HERE to go to their site. He wanted some of his talent to get new head shots so I agreed to make the 1 1/2 hour drive. When I arrived, my favorite local make up artist, Courtney Zepeda-Hawkes (check her site HERE) was there doing her thing. We had a really fun day of shooting that went off with out a hitch with ten models getting a new head shot for their composite card. I enjoyed the challenge of getting a great shot in a short period of time, we had a bout 30 minutes each person. Everyone I shot was great and full of energy and the shots came put very well check below for some favs.
It was my first time actually meeting Ed and I ‘m please to have met him. He’s a really great guy and would be an awesome agent to have. He has 25 years experience as a model so he understands both sides of the coin plus he has integrety, which isn’t always easy to find in this industry. I highly recommend his agency if you are looking for representation in North Carolina.

October 12th
October 12, 2008 // Posted by: admin // Category: blogWhen I am home in North Carolina in between jobs, I often shoot models who need to develop their portfolios. Agencies send them to to me pretty regularly. I enjoy these photo shoots because it’s fun for me to work with fresh talent and the pressure is much lower. Most of the commercial jobs I do have a good amount of money tied up in production costs and if I don’t do my job and get great images, the only one to blame is me.
Today was one of those low pressure days. I was working working with a local makeup artist Courtney Zepeda-Hawkes, who does fantastic work BTW. And we were shooting a model named Amber, it was her first photo shoot. I think she is going to have no trouble getting work in this business, check the images below to see what I’m talking about.

July 25, 2008 // Posted by: admin // Category: blogThis week was mostly spent working on different projects for Eastern Dirt Magazine. We are putting together another “Tech Tip” article, this one is for installing graphics which I should be shooting it Friday or Saturday. We are also working on the new issue that will be out on the 5th of August. I have done 4 tech tips for EDM so far. It’s fun to do these because of the challenge they present, the images need to demonstrate how to do a particular service on a motorcycle.
